The Lawn Ranger was founded ten years ago by a 12-year-old Westford kid named Zac, who walked throughout Westford neighborhoods with handmade flyers offering grass cutting with a push mower and a dream.

 

Despite the fact he was young, inexperienced, and didn’t even have a bank account, Zac was determined to build a business doing what he loved - working hard to make the outdoors even more beautiful! 

 

Over the next decade, with his gregarious personality, incredible work ethic, and desire to never stop learning, his business grew exponentially from one client to over 50 and from simple lawn cutting to an array of services.

Even while pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Contracting and Business, Zac continued to run his business, driving two hours every weekend from college back to Westford to keep his clients’ grass mowed and free of leaves. 

 

Now, having earned his degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, with his continued dedication and love of landscaping, The Lawn Ranger is happily serving over 100 valued customers throughout the Westford, Littleton, Chelmsford, and Acton area.
